The Lauritzen Gardens began in 1982 and has since expanded into over a 100 acre Botanical Garden and Arboretum.

A Pink Rose is s symbol of elegance and often conveys admiration and appreciation. Did you know you can actually eat a rose? Its true, you can eat the petals, and roses grow a fruit, called a Rose Hip. The rose is the U.S. National flower, and the oldest living rose is 1,000 years old, as Roses are some of the oldest flowers, having been referenced in literature and music for centuries.
