Mormon Row - Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

Description

A barn built by John and Thomas Alma Moulton highlight what is known as Mormon Row in Grand Teton National Park.

The red glow of early morning sunrise kisses the Teton behind the barn.

This area came to be known as Mormon Row from Mormon settlers from Idaho in the 1890s. They moved this way to establish new communities and support expanding populations.

The rich soil allowed for settler to grow crops through irrigation systems and survive harsh conditions of Jackson Hole.
