Theodore Roosevelt Arch

Description

The Theodore Roosevelt Arch, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming.

The arch was built in 1903, can be seen for miles and stands over 50 feet high. Made from hundreds of tons of Columnar Basalt, locally sourced.

Roosevelt never saw the completed arch, but placed the cornerstone and spoke at the dedication ceremony.
