Description

Overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Cattle Point Lighthouse stands at 34 feet tall watching as the strait meets the San Juan Channel.

1888 saw a lens lantern used, then in 1921, the U.S. Navy installed a radio compass station. Finally, in 1935, the modern day octagon shaped Light House you see today was built.
