A Fort rich in history.

During the American Civil War Fort Delaware was used to house confederate prisoners of war, particularly those captured in at the Battle of Gettysburg. Many who died here are buried nearby at Finns Point National Cemetery in New Jersey. Fort Delaware State Park, Delaware.
